Can a misdemeanor summons be a felony?

If the security officer charged it as a misdemeanor the states attorney/prosecutor can elevate it to a felony but usually will not, with them having that option you will not know until you got to court, my best guess is that since you paid the restitution already it will remain a misdemeanor and you will have to pay a fine and serve some probation.}{
